“Ek Khoj” – An ExplorationThis creation was gifted to a dear friend of mine Bikram Saluja during his visit to “Gondal” for a documentary shoot of his journey from Mumbai to Ladakh by car. The backdrop of this painting is the Gandhi Ashram at Porbandar, which is one of the places he explored during the course of his several miles and several months-long travel escapade through India. The rain-drenched portrayal signifies the difficulties he had to face to explore and reveal the remote treasures of our country. The soul rejuvenating and life-enriching experience, the knowledge, and the rich insight he gained after this travel sojourn is depicted by the ray of light.Location Inspired from- Mahatma Gandhi Ashram, Porbandar, Gujarat.
